ErikJohannsen, you don't need to be making trades but you got fired because you weren't even answering offers. Real GMs at least listen to offers. And WerenskiWarrior i have updated the list, thanks.
I wonder what all of our dear Penguin hater GMs on this site are thinking right now...
We have four options
1) Killing ourselves
2) Thinking, "next year will be the year!" only to get crushed again, and the cycle repeats.
3) Wasting our time and sticking with the Caps, even though we know they won't win
4) Be a disloyal sack of s*** and start rooting for our second team (for me, Toronto)
I'm going with option 3, after going with 2 for all these years

As a Canucks fan, I'm going with number 4, just because I hope they lose and tank. Once their rebuild is over I'll switch back. I've done this before too (see: Leafs Rebuild)
Oilers don't deserve to be in the playoffs, plain and simple.
Says the Sabres fan
Sabres can never come close to getting the best player in the world McDavid, not even if you...(remembers Sabres disastrous tanking effort), oh wait, that didn't work out either.
If there was an agreement earlier (doesn't matter if it was by me or the BOG) by the league organizer(s) and you, i guess they're signed, but only if there was an agreement earlier that you could sign those guys.

I think the Oilers win it next year but believe it or not, i think the Caps have a good chance. Next year in order of how i'm cheering for them:
1 - NYI/NYR
2 - Other one of NYI and NYR
3 - WSH
