I wouldn't say Fowler/Vatanen are interchangeable since Fowler > Vatanen.

The Arizona one is unique, I like it but I hate it as well. I dislike trading within the division but getting someone like Strome and him playing with Jones and possibly Steel, would be pretty amazing to see.

The Philly trade similar with the AZ trade, I wouldn't mind getting a young kid for Vatanen. I think the trade can work, but Murray might want an NHL player instead of a prospect. Who know what can happen though,

i can't see the rangers giving up JT Miller considering he's been the most consistent ranger outside of McD and zucc.

i honestly can see the trade going through before expansion for nash at a discount plus the same picks going back to anaheim (instead of anaheim sending 3/5 the rangers do) and maybe a prospect like kovacs or something like that (def not gropp, zbrov, day, igor or graves)

Yeah I disagree. I think Fowler is grossly overrated and vatanen is severely underrated. And the main reason they are interchangable to me is because it's a wash between them, but also because Fowler needs and extension so you won't be able to get as much value for him which once again IMO degrades his value to at or below Vatanens level

Yeah I figured they might want an NHL guy but I was more gauging interest. IMO the ducks should go after Simmonds or Schenn. Simmer would probably take Vatanen plus one of Jones or steel though. Schenn might be a 1 for 1 with more going back ANA way

What would Vatanen to the Oilers look like? And Fowler to the Avalanche?
