      Additional Details:
Donskoi imo makes alot of sense and feels like a good replacement for Rust.
      SEA
      1. Rust, Bryan
      Additional Details:
Hes likely to hit the FA market so I assume we trade him at the TDL. I would also assume that he gets traded for a top 9 RW.

It's not a good deal for SJ at half retention. As the buyout is substantially cheaper we'd expect something of substance for the trading club is getting a 30 goal scorer who has seemingly corrected his attitude a bit. I would accept Poulin.

Did you really just give New Jersey a cap dump so they could retain on an entirely different player for you?

VAN decline. They only consider moving Boeser for a top 4 RHD (Example: Marino).

I'm not the one who made these ideas, except the SEA and DAL trades.

I wouldn't consider the buyout "substantially cheaper" (due to it being more expensive... by 5.5 Million), and if SJS thinks they're getting anything above a late 2nd/3rd (with 50% retained) for Kane you guys are crazy. Sure hes a 30 goal scorer, he was basically thrown out of ATL/WPG and Buffalo, and now your players don't even want him dressing for you (even though he led the team scoring).

Correct or at the very least grade 1 prospect or 1st round pick.

So the Devils retain around 2M for 4 years and get an overpaid they don’t need

I don’t get why Seattle would want a pending UFA in Rust. The team isn’t very good and won’t make the playoffs so acquiring a rental forward who will likely leave in free agency doesn’t make any sense for them. Also the retention on Kane to get Zucker I couldn’t see happen

Would you do Letang and Zucker for Myers and Boeser? Maybe pens add a prospect or a pick?

Pens decline that very quickly. Letang Is the best piece in that trade and even then pens aren't moving him
