Since when did Chychrun become Eichel. That was the ask for Jack.

And I would be shocked if the Ducks didn't laugh at that offer. Not sure Chychrun would get either one of those players in a 1 for 1. Chychrun is good but he's no Norris winner stud. At least not yet, but may be never. He'll get a haul but if that is indeed the ask, it's ridiculous and will come down. Big time.

I figure it would have to be our top ranked forward Robertson, our top young dman Sandin and a 1st Rd pick in this years draft that is deep.

If they trade Chychrun, it might end up being for a smaller package. But, hear me out here, what if, just what if, the Coyotes want Chychrun to be the cornerstone of their franchise? Maybe, just maybe, they don’t even consider trading him.

Put it this way, Chychrun is an elite defenseman who plays an elite offensive and defensive game, AND is on an absolute steal of a contract for the next 4 years. That is already extremely valuable, and with pretty much every team in the league wanting someone like that, that just drives his value up even further.

Face it, Chychrun is almost certainly staying a Coyote, and the same goes for Keller, who is locked up long term. These 2 players are going to be the cornerstones of this franchise. If one of these guys are going to be traded, it will be for a kings ransom, and it will make another teams wallet really hurt. There is very likely no cheap way of acquiring these players.

With the Rielly extension I think Chyrcrun is off the books.
