I am not a fan of the McNabb signing either, but comparing him to Del Zotto is a disservice.

I think there is a chance at least that Giroux would sign with the Sens, really just all matters how things play out in Philly.

Also, Murray should be nowhere near the starter ever again, the only reason he stays on this team next year is to help get to the Cap floor if the sens are able to move pieces like White & Zaitsev.

Norris needs more money than that given he is a C and the season he is putting together rn. I would assume also that Formenton will want more unless it is a longer term deal.

McNabb is a lot better than Del Zotto though. Look at Holden, it doesn't mean 100% of players acquired will be bad
