Carrier is worth it. He’s worth every penny and is only 25

I’d be very surprised if Carrier was available but would absolutely be a great target IF he was.

This wouldn’t be a a package that NSH would want.

Why do you say "they probably will"?

Zero reporting the NSH is shopping Carrier or interested in trading him. And you say if they're out of the playoffs, but they're 3rd in their division. Not saying they'll stay there, but just seems odd to bring up when they're currently 12th in the entire league...

4th in TOI in NSH among all players, rookie (though older at 25), on pace for 35 points, plays PK and PP, only makes around $700k this year and next -- why would NSH even want to trade a player like that. He's their best RHD right now. Doesn't make any sense.

I would seriously hesitate to give remotely that kind of assets for a 25 year with less than 60 career games who has been stapled to 2 very good dmen in Ekholm and Josi essentially the entire time.

In the extremely unlikely event NSH could be swayed to trade Carrier, these aren't the right pieces. The 1st is the only thing NSH would have interest in.
