first things first FIRE TIPPET yeah hes a god with special teams but its like watching timbits hockey when its 5v5 except all the bad kids dont get to play and the coaches son plays the whole game

replacement would either be their ahl coach woodcraft whos analytically based or maybe babcock but too much controversy around him

u could easily run 4 lines with this new team and not overplay ur dmen with this team

id do lagesson>keith but probably wont happen no matter whos the coach

foegle crouse and yamo could all be in and out of top 6 if a spark is needed

offseason u trade barrie for a ick this year replace him with broberg resign everyone except maybe crosue and pray keith and smith retire

Funny enough. Babs or Torts would do you guys well IMO. 75% of the players aren’t elite and those guys bring the most out of them usually. You don’t need someone like AV who is always good with the PP because your top 2 guys are pretty much the top 2 guys in the world. For the crazies who think I literally mean 1 and 2, it’s more like 1 and 3-5ish.

If the Oilers can get Appleton for that they should make that trade now, or Jarnkrok, a 3rd line of Foegele-McLeod-Apples/Jarnkrok would be decent, hell grab both of them if you can.

could see broberg in the deal but based on other top defenseman trades the past few years or percieved as that (seth jones) teams have given up less and still got them. i feel like the trade price will slowly go down because teams wont pay for a lowkey guy like chych even tho hes a top 15 dman

Well thats really shortsighted by Holland then, really think one or two decent bottom six forwards would make a pretty big difference to this team, not gonna solve all their problems but would definitely help and mask some other deficiencies a bit.
