why are we retaining on murray, taking on another cap dump, and giving up a very good player? we have cap space, so we don’t need to pay to dump murray at all, and we’re definitely not strapping connor brown to him to do so. we can swap goalies if you’d like to give murray a try (and take back koskinen and maybe like russell or keith), but if you want brown ottawa better be getting a 1st+ in the trade one way or another

Just buy out Murray, much easier solution. Also gives him a chance to start new on a cheap contract and lower expectations (and mainly somewhere else lol)
