If the Coyotes want Amirov in this deal, they'd have to take on Mrazek's salary too. Much prefer to include the Leafs 1st in 2022, as Amirov is presumedly closer to contributing during the Leafs' Big 4 era than an upcoming 1st. That said... Dubas gave Mrazek a MNC as part of his deal (according to this site & puck-pedia) and I'd have to believe that the Coyotes would be on Mrazek's list of no-go-to destinations.

Right now, it looks like both Dawson Mercer & Guhle would have been better picks. Still early for the final assessment... but as Leaf fans, let's hope Dubas & his team got it right 🙁 as a Leaf fan, I'm getting tired of saying that.

Agreed. And love the idea of including Mrazek

You may be right, but we need to keep assets to let them develop so we can see.
