Don’t feel like Fitz need to be that aggressive in the summer.
Overpayment for what’s likely a somewhat overrated defender in Chychrun and throwing Nemec straight into the NHL are needlessly risky moves.

Our D is likely gonna improve from this year with internal solutions anyway, likely by the emergence of one of Bahl, Walsh or Mukhammadulin. Also, Ty Smith is gonna be one year older and probably past his sophomore slump.

I like the Forsberg signing but for that caphit Gaudreau is likely a better target. Also like the Gritsyuk addition, looking more and more like a steal getting him in the 5th round.

Too much. Chychrun is good, but is he worth this much to NJD?

Just testing the waters here, it would be nice to have 3 defence pairs that you could feel comfortable with at all times. Don't need to throw Nemec in but he could be NHL ready.

We don't know if it's just a sophomore slump with Ty, Philly once thought Ghostisbehere was an important piece for them.

I prefer Forsberg personally.
