- Koskinen to the minors for the rest of the season (contract done after that)
- Skinner on taxi-squad in case Smith is injured again

How much off am I on what Boston would want for Ullmark? He signed as a UFA, so I think they did pretty good on that deal if they convert that into a 1st round pick.

sadly, as much as I like the deal. Boston insiders already stated that the plan is for swayman to go to the minors for ROS and the Rask situation will be a season by season thing if he doesn't retire after this year

That would be in the ballpark. But Ullmark has a full NMC for first 2 years.

Does not mean it’s locked in. Adding a 1st for Ullmark would give Boston more ability to go after Chychrun.

I wish edmonton could poach Ullmark but Swayman can get stashed in the minors for this year and next after which rask will be 36 and probably retire. I dont think he will be available for at least 2 years if they trade him at all.

Based on how Ken Holland got fleeced in that Chicago trade, if this did go down I could see it being more than a first actually. This here was just a fan dream. The reality could be giving up much more to make this work.

agreed but trades need to logical regardless of level of panic. Still gotta make a smart hockey trade. I would not mind trading Kass to you guys + a mid round pick to shave some salary to help with a subsequent deal for a goalie

Yeah no team wants Kassian. You have to add assets with him if you want to move that cap, that wouldn't even be in the trade I don't think.
