Both are upgrades for the team. Ritchie is certainly the 13th forward in TO but he's better than a few Oiler wingers.

Doesn't matter, Edmonton can't afford to take on their contracts for multiple seasons.

This doesnt make Edmonton better. It also doesnt solve their goaltending issue. Why trade a backup for a backup ? Is Mrazek better then koskinen?

Gotta think the Oilers would like to go the summer with goalie cap and not 3.8m Mrazrek (or 5.25m Price) and certainly not 2.4m Ritchie.
