Not bringing back Weal? Don't like the VAN trade at all. Ghost signing is a bit low. Absolutely do not want Bishop.

How do you not want bishop? Like I said, he'd be the best flyer goalie in ages. Also, tanev solidifies your D and gives properov a legitimate guy to play with, while sliding gudas down

I think Ghost gets more than that, I also would definitely bring back Weal. No chance I want Bishop, I'd rather re-sign Mason for around 2 years at $4,125,000 per and have Stolarz back him up than spend that much money on Bishop. At least we know what Mason is, with our awesome goalie prospect depth there's no need to spend a ton of $$ on a 6 year deal for Bishop. Mason is a fine enough bridge starter for Stolarz to develop behind.

Would you sign bishop 7 X 3 instead?

Bishop is one of the most overrated goalies in the NHL...he just isnt worth that money. Mason is a good, solid goaltender, its just that the defense is an atrocity upon an atrocity. IMO, Bishop's actual value shouldn't land him an AAV above 5mil

Crawford is the most overrated goalie in my opinion.

because Bishop isn't good and there is absolutely ZERO chance the Flyers need a goalie locked up for that term/cap hit at this point

I don't want Bishop at all, there is no need to go after the biggest name out there for pending UFA goalies. We only need a bridge starter for Stolie to develop behind, and eventually take over for. Most likely it will be either Neuvy or Mason, but even if they go in another direction it most certainly won't be anyone above their price/tier of goalies. Bishop is overrated, will be overpaid, and we don't need him.
