why would the islanders trade a top 4 RD for a more expensive 7D

Oilers probably don’t take Mrazek unless we take back more cap. Isles wouldn’t give Mayfield away for Dermott. They aren’t on the same level. The Seattle trade is pretty pointless for us

Really? How are the oilers doing with no goalie? The islander deal I may need to add something to it but it's not ridiculous and Seattle gets a decent dman for a goalie they aren't even really using

Mike smith and Mikko koskinen are not nhl goalies. So sad seeing the oilers waste drai and and McDavid prime. They have a real chance of missing the playoffs this year too
