Most of these guys shouldn’t be available. Guri shouldn’t be. Holtby should be. Don’t really want Raanta back tho

You learn something new every day. That definitely decreases my interest in Bert, as it would make the team less effective against 7 teams, and in a tight race in the east, those point could be everything.

My friend, if you can't beat Ottawa and Montreal without Tyler Bertuzzi in your lineup as one of the best teams in the NHL already, that's not an issue with Tyler Bertuzzi...

Zadina is playing good hockey at both ends of the ice he's just having trouble scoring. I doubt he gets traded before he has a chance to play with Vrána they looked good together at the end of last season. If he can't figure things out I think he will be playing for a different team at the end of next season. Yzerman likes to say "I'm not worried about the scoring if they are playing good hockey the goals will come."

With Bertuzzi I don't know probably more than you want to spend he's on pace for about 40 goals this season and was on pace for 30 last season before his injury. Yes 9 games is a small sample size but Detroit only played 56 games last season. The 2 seasons before that he put 21 in each. I'm not sure Detroit even tries to trade him.
Redstinger and BStinson liked this.

Any kind of deals Yzerman makes for players like these, even Zadina, is going to have to be something he is a clear winner in. For Bertuzzi, something like Jarvis, a 1rst and a 2nd. Zadina, maybe a late 1rst or something like Bokk and a 2nd. I doubt Carolina would pay those prices but you never know at the deadline for contending teams.

Any deal I see for the Detroit guys would involve Drury I would expect. But I could see them having interest in Necas, Jarvis and Suzuki. Centre is our biggest need right now and there is no reason to trade either of those guys so price is high.

Where is Necas's value at these days. Any chance working a deal around Fiala for Necas?

No chance at all. And besides i thought the Wild were interested in Centers. While Necas can play Center, he is much better on the wing.

I can’t speak for Wings fans, but if it were up to me, I’d ask for Drury or Morrow for Zadina

I’m pretty sure Suzuki and a 3rd would be a more reachable deal.
