yeah, getting a bunch of crap from the worst team in the league for a guy like marner should would adjust the teams attitude and have them give up on you

The Bison King is not for sale. Also, neither Holl or Mrazek adequately address the Oilers needs. We already have a streaky injury prone goalie with another year on his contract and RD that don't defend well.

lol how is the immediate reaction to trade marner after that game

my immediate reaction is maybe add a younger 4th line crash-and-bang type player and a good defensive RD to play with Muzzin

Because they don't watch Marner play and really don't know hockey. Trading your best all round player won't improve any team unless their rebuilding.

Matthews is their best all around player, not really debatable imo. And if another one or two years of 1st round exits happen they'll have to at least consider moving him. But yes

So the "best all round" doesn't score too much does he,? And the Leafs don't win four games in a series much either
is it about the one or the team? in this case it's not just the player - but his affect on the Cap
