Why the hell would the Isles move Mayfield? Seriously, LOLIslanders isn't Lou Lamoriello's mindset. "Oh, the Leafs (who let me go because Dubas conspired to get Tavares) want me to virtually hand them a really good shutdown RD2 making $1.45 million for 2 seasons for virtually nothing? Oh, they're Canada's team! That'll work! Really!"

You're sending scraps- and yes, Kase is a bottom 6 scrap- because you want to clap your way to a title. Stop being a fanboi.

Didnt realize how sought after Mayfield is. I would add a 1st round pick to that deal to make it at least considerable for Lou and the Isles. Kase could definitely play in a top 6 if healthy he has been great for the leafs this year they just have too much of a log jam up the wings.

That's not a good trade for Seattle at all. Not sure how "functional" Martin and Chara are at this point.
