Ouuffff...the potential of the equivalent of 3 1st rounders (Still hard to imagine the Leafs getting by Tampa, but whatever), a fringy #4 dman (Fine bottom pair), a guy on pace for 55ish pts/82 games that could likely be flipped for a 2nd+decent prospect, for 1/4 of a year of Giroux/Risto is an extremely optomistic return...

I mean, non-Leafs fan here, but I'd probably do 1st+Amirov+decent other prospect for Giroux at 50%, but yeah, this is bananas.

Horrid for the Leafs. Holl is better/cheaper/has more term than Risto.
The difference this year between Kerfoot and Giroux certainly isn't Amirov, a first and second.
Risto/Giroux for Holl and Kerfoot.....that might be fair trade this season, then the Leafs don't have two good value guys totalling 5.5m next season.
Giroux has a MNC, he can chose what few teams he wants to play for so there is not going be a bidding war for Giroux.

I'd honestly just prefer to keep Koskinen. I don't think Edmonton will be trading for a goalie.
