Oilers reject this offer, there is no chance they're giving up an almost NHL ready D Man with higher upside than the goalie they'd be getting, while giving up a 3rd as well.. Like Vanacek but he's not a significant upgrade from Skinner/Konovalev or Smith...

Keep risto far way from this team, he'll just end up like Schultz.

If Washington, for whatever reason, traded Vanacek, they wouldn't want another LD prospect. I like Broberg but WSH already has Alexeyev, Feh, Orlov, and LuJo on the left side.

In the same vein as the last one, keep Vanacek and allow him to go tandem with Samsonov for at least 1 more year.

Don't sign Clifford, instead keep Hathaway at 4LW, then bring up Protas/Leason.

Trade Eller, and let MCM take the 3C spot. Insert Sprong/Protas at the 2RW and let the other battle for 3LW with Sheary.

I don't see EDM considering that deal at all. They have a young Skinner to play a 1B/backup role already-- what they need is a cheap 1A goalie and Vanecek isn't that.

He is Oilers NUMBER 1 prospect in their system.
No chance you are getting a first round top 10 pick and a 3rd for him
