Vegas again finds itself in need of cap space. Similar to the Nate Schmidt trade, would the Canucks be able to pry Zach Whitecloud out seeing as Dylan Coghlan has come out looking to be a cheaper option for the next few years?

I mean, Whitecloud + Brossoit next year is 5mil off the books. VGK already has Pietrangelo and Theodore on the right side. Crazier things have happened??

Close to fair value for JT Miller. Canucks would probably take Schneider + 1st round pick.

Rangers have been rumored to potentially have Lundkvist as the prospect to go. Schneider looks like he’s got the 3rd RD spot locked up and isn’t going anywhere. Pretty sure there isn’t a trade to be made here cause we won’t move Schneider and you guys don’t want Lundkvist. Best to look at other trade partners imo.

Not when we’re cap crunched and you know you have two quality defensemen locked up under 3 mill, you’re not gonna trade them

A team so cap crunched won’t be moving one of their better team friendly contracts. Plus it’s pretty rare to see a player moved shortly after inking an extension.

Rags fans would rather dump poorly developed prospects. Rags mgmt know give to get & in $2.625 Miller it doesn’t get any better. Late 1st or 2nd is overrated by many.
If dropping the 2nd then an upgrade on Barron is a no brainer.
