Do people stop trolling? We aren't interested in trading Ryan Hartman, Marco Rossi and our 1st round picks for a Winger we don't need and want, and Bo Horvat. How about post a realistic one?

I've yet to see any trade idea regarding the Wild approved by a Minnesota fan on this forum. I do agree though that the Wild will need to keep anyone they have on a entry level contract for the next few years to be able to meet the cap limit cause when the Sutter Parise buyout hits they will no longer be able to add to their team except for rookies.

The reason you've yet to see it is for one of two reasons. 1) The whack job fans think who think every player/prospect is untouchable are rampant here. 2) The proposals are lunacy.

This is a terrible proposal on MN's behalf and isn't even one of the worst ones we've seen on here recently. Like, how is a team with 12-14+ million in dead space the next three years going to take on two players making ~13+ million while giving up an ELC and a sub-2 million dollar absolute bargain? There's just no way a bunch of things on here make sense, so that is why you don't get many (if any) MN fans agreeing with trades on here. Come up with something that makes sense for a team entering cap hell and maybe they would agree with it. (Not telling YOU personally to come up with something, just in general)

You are quite right with what you state however many of the arguments used to critizise these trades seem to be based on the worth of the player traded for rather than cap space. I guess people can over valuate their favourite team players. Even Minnesota fans..

Most of the criticism I see from fellow Wild fans is just the "kids" who can't quite understand that trades are meant to work out for both teams. Just a lot of yelling that "Player X is untouchable because us Minnesota fans really like him." Idk why this portion of the fanbase is so prevalent on here...
