For the Ducks, we get good value for Rakell/Manson and either flip Dadonov/Smith for more assets or keep a "competitive" roster with the surprising season the Ducks are having.

Highly amusing as well as highly imaginative. Frankly, I think that we're being overpaid. I'd be happy without Morozov and the second, because neither one helps the Golden Knights' cap situation. Reilly Smith doesn't even have to find a new temporary home before going back to Las Vegas in the off-season.

Our UFAs would probably strongly consider re-signing in no-state-income-tax Nevada, which certainly has a lower cost-of-living than Southern California.
