Not sure how much value Liljegren holds but it doesn't quite feel like enough considering we are taking on Ritchie's deal, retaining half Miller's deal, and including Schenn in the deal.

If the equivalent of 3 1sts isn’t enough for Miller 50% retained, good luck with any deal.
Wow, you realize it is 2022. You could argue Kerfoot is as good as the current edition of Benn...and cheaper. I wouldn't want to see Benn in my team for the next three full seasons.
Too many cheap futures to give up for 1.5m years of Miller, but some team might.

In my opinion, a rental year + a full season of miller UNRETAINED is worth 3.5 first-round picks. Historical comparables show this to be accurate from what I've read and understood.

While I agree that 2022 benn is no where near the player he once was it would give the leafs a very different player than kerfoot. IMO the leafs already have a lot of soft skill like kerfoot and could use a player with the skill set of benn instead. I agree that the salary is pretty rough even at half retained but i think come playoff time is when players like benn can really help the leafs compared kerfoot

Yeah that seems pretty insane to me especially without any retention but who knows, someone could pay that Miller is a legit player

I agree that it will take an intense bidding war for the price to reach this high, but I think the Canucks should hold onto him if this doesn't occur, as we aren't going to lose him for nothing quite yet, obviously one full season will yield less return but it gives Miller more time to develop his value and with more teams interested in the offseason we could get an overpay.

Playoff Benn is a savage. Doesn’t matter what year it is

Maybe. Kerfoot was Leafs second best playoff performer last year. Sorry, I couldn't compare him to Benn's performance. I kinda think it does matter what year it is, otherwise would Guy Lafleur and Larry Robinson and my team.
