Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Fasching, Hudson [RFA Rights]
  2. 2022 3rd round pick (ARI)
Additional Details:
Deal is done at draft: Leafs get cap space and low pick back. If just Ritchie going back, Leafs would add however Dermott balances this deal. Arizona gets two useable players for next season in front of 3000 fans.
ARI
  1. Dermott, Travis
  2. Ritchie, Nick
  3. 2023 5th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Deal is done at draft: Losing Dermott will hurt, but freeing up 4 million in cap is key this offseason to keep key players around.
Ritchie wont be missed
2.
TOR
  1. Nieto, Matt
  2. Reimer, James
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (SJS)
Additional Details:
Deal is done during offseason: Leafs bring back fan fav Reimer to right the wrongs of the past. Nieto comes in as a nice depth piece for the leafs like Simmonds.
SJS
  1. Der-Arguchintsev, Semyon
  2. Mrázek, Petr
  3. 2023 6th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Deal is done during offseason: This might seem like a weird deal at first for the Sharks. However, it is clear Hill and Remier were not good enough. Bringing in Mrazek gives them solid tending for the net two seasons and getting a young growing center is great for a super old team.

Reimer > Mrazek rn

Currently, Remier has better numbers than Mrazek this year no doubt. However, everyone knows Remier is not a starting NHL goalie. He is great for 20-25 games max. I know the Sharks want to compete, which is why I thought the trade would work for both teams.

Doesn't seem overly realistic for a few reasons to me:
Why would the Sharks pay a 2nd to downgrade their goaltending?
Arizona is in no position to be giving up draft picks. And getting rid of Ritchie would cost Toronto, not net them an upgrade pick.
Calvin De Haan won't be signing that contract.
No taxi squad next year, so you'd have to figure out a better solution for Holl, and would be in trouble when injuries come up.

Trade wouldn’t work. Reimer has been great in San Jose this season + his first stint in 2016. Mrazek isn’t the goalie the Sharks would bring in anyways. They would have signed him if they thought he would have been a better long term option than say Hill.

This part is more my personal opinion, I think the Sharks should also keep Reimer and maybe see if he wants to take on a coaching role in the organization once he retires. He’s a very clam presence in net and would be a strong mentor to our young goalies.

Also, moving another 2nd for a goalie isn’t the best idea right now.

...but is Mrazek a starting goalie? Below league average in 4 of the past 6 seasons, hasn't started more than 40 games since '17 (He did start 38/68 games in 2020).

2nd is going the wrong way. And even with it going the right way Sharks decline.

My goodness this is a horrible trade for San Jose. Mrazek is worse and more expensive and the sharks are giving up a 2nd in the deal? This really far off base. Mrazek isn’t a starter and has continually had injury and inconsistency issues very recently.

Yes the sharks just can't wait to give the Leafs freebies.
