And missing assignments, and tripping over themselves, and being on the ice for 3/4 of the GAA, and, and, and, and, and....................

Sigh yep. What an odd team. They can look unbeatable and then like this.
I just want to see a cup before I die.

LOL. It wasn't a serious offer.

But we will do Holl and a third for Schenn.

How old are you? I wish born in 1954 and can remember the Leafs Cups wins.

I was born 10 years after the last cup win, so I've been suffering my entire life. Guessing @Rhea is probably in the same boat

Looking back in hindsight, it's amazing how bad ownership and management has been for the Leafs for 55 years.

There's been some good points. The Fletcher years were healthy. And we've had some really bad luck. We've also rushed and ruined some really good players.
What the NHL needs to do is put a second team in the GTA to put some pressure on the Leafs to not just make money, but manage the team into a winner.

I kinda disagree. The Leafs spend money and actually have a very highly paid executives and coaches (and ex coaches). Ownership has spend actually $$$$$ on complete incompetenst.....Ferguson, Burke, Nonis, Wilson and Babcock. I'm sure the current ownership anreven past ownerships would have benefitted financially if the Leafs had been more successful.
My suggestion is the GMs should take more suggestions from CapFriendly contributors. Dubas and the high price Leafs executives have managed the cap poorly in the past few years.
