Lol, I don’t understand the issue with this deal Lafreniere is play bottom 6 minutes as a former #1 pick not exactly promising for his development

Because you don't trade a 20 yr old number 1 over all pick yet. You give him time to develop. He is playing for a team that didn't need to give him 1st line mins right away. He is on a team where he can take his time. Especially for a recycled player who had problems in the locker room his 1st time here. Then you add a 9th over all pick plus a 1st than a 2nd. The ask is embarrassing. I thought this was actually a troll trade scenario

First of all the leadership ship is completely different from what Miller dealt with during his first time there which was the beginning of his career. Add to the fact that Kravtsov is just the second prospect in as many years who wants out, it hurts his value, doesn’t matter where in the draft he was selected. Also I think you need to look at the picks it’s a 2nd they got in the Buchnevich trade plus a 3rd that’s two years away.

Sure maybe Lafreniere may pan out, but he’s had opportunities to play in the top 6 with highly skilled players and hasn’t shown to his coach that he can stay in that position

I didn't pay attention to the picks your right, because I was in disbelief that there would be picks added to that nonsense. You are aware that he hasn't been given a shot at top 6 mins in all honesty. That is what most of the Ranger fans are complaining about. He is finally getting a shot a 1st RW, this will be his 3rd game playing there and he is on a 2 game point streak. That 2nd for Buch. is a very touchy subject in NY. If Drury adds that with Laf, he will be run out of town. Kravstov was promised the world under Quinn and Gorton the GM. Gallant and Drury promised him nothing, so he cried and went home. Doesn't mean he is not a decent asset, it just means he won't play for NY. He will still be treated as an A prospect in trades

The Toffoli trade has set a precedent of a 1st, another pick a player and a prospect. I would think Chytil, Kratsov a 1st and 2024 second would be possible although Vanvouver fans might say not enough

I don't think you guys get trades at all. If the Rangers want Miller it starts with Braden Schneider. The Rangers are not trading Lafreniere, that would be crazy.

Miller for Schneider, Kravstov and a 2nd

If the rumours are true the Canucks are looking at getting forwards in any Miller deal and than Boeser would be the player who they could target better defensive prospects because he has more controllability for teams as an RFA
