It's going to depend on how much other teams around the league are offering. Any team in the playoff picture that has the cap space is going to be kicking the tires on guys like Pavelksi and Giroux. Statistically, Pavelski is having the better year & he's signed for over $1M less than Giroux. When it comes to available forwards on the Trade Market, Pavelski should be the cream of the crop this year.
If things get competitive on the market, I could definitely see Pavelski going for well above market value (Lundkvist & a 1st). If the Rangers want to ensure that they have the top offer, they may have to throw in a 2nd and/or a guy like Kravtsov
