I really, really, really fail to see how Chiarot is worthy anything more than like a late 2nd or early 3rd.

I really really can’t believe Chiarot will bring a 1st but all insiders are saying that he will 🤷‍♂️

Don’t see any reason at all for Edmonton to bother with that. Have options on the wing as it is don’t have anyone internally to take barries spot.

You have to ignore his stats and accept reality. GMs are happy to pay up for a physical minute munching defenseman for a playoff run. I'm not saying it should be that way, but that's the way it is.

That's fair. No ill will against Montreal but I'm not sure what these insiders are seeing

Supply and demand. 12 teams (reportedly) after Chiarot and only one Chiarot to trade. The cost for him is gonna get inflated, especially if MTL retains 50%.

I also do not think he is worth more then a 2nd but I also won't be surprised if he fetches a bit more then a 1st.

Canucks decline. Same length as Poolman for more expensive. Even if he is a better player I would rather have the extra cap

Have you seen our system? Outside of our top line Dallas is where offense goes to die
