I know probably a B+ or A- . But NJ would be asking for one of Liljgren , Amirov, Robertson, Knies or Hirvonen and a 2nd . Idk if Hirvonen is enough but the others are good

I don't know why the Leafs need another LWer.(Zacha) You would think if Luby is a top 6 Dman, Phoenix gets a lot more at TDL

I just wouldn't make the trade, I do see him as needed or at least not over adding a defenceman.

If they somehow make it work with the cap , Gourde would be terrific fit as a 3C. I still think a D should be #1 priority tho.

Exactly. I was thinking a 2nd and a prospect for Zacha to play at LW. Then trade Kerfoot + Hirvonen + 1st for Gourde with 1 mill retention

Id like to keep Kerfoot tho is the only thing. I don’t think there’s anyway it gets done considering it’s not our #1 priority and the cap constraints, although it would be a pipe dream.

zacha is better defensively than Bennett and has more offensive upside (at the time of trade)

They are not good defensively though, being the best on a bad team is why they are a bad team
