What has Lehkonen done to deserve even a 2nd?

Can play anywhere in the lineup and produce. Defensively responsible, great penalty killer. Playoff performer. Was a really important piece on the Habs line that shut down all the other teams’ top lines in the playoffs last year.

So he’s worth it because had a decent playoff one year? He doesn’t produce much. .36 ppg over his career so he averages about 30 points a game. That’s not close to the return you are asking for

Since when were points the be all and end all for determining trade value? I dunno if you remember this, but Tampa bay traded a first round pick and a prospect who was a first round pick the year before for Blake Coleman, who had a career ppg average of 0.39, and a first round pick for Barclay Goodrow who in San Jose had a ppg average of 0.26. Both of these would be considered terrible trades by your evaluation. But what did they do? Only create the best third line in hockey and play a huge role in shutting down opposing teams top guys en route to leading the lightning to two (2!!!) Stanley cups. Lehkonen is that kind of player, and when you’re going on a playoff run, you need those kinds of players. So yeah, he’s worth the return I’m asking for (a RHD prospect who can’t make your team)

Habs reject. Lundqvist + Kravtsov

You aren't getting that for a 3rd line forward.

nah thats crazy teh rangers arent going to trade schnider, not after the start hes had

If the Canucks aren't getting Schneider that's a fair deal

although I think Schnider will be in the package, this package is fair for what the Nucks are giving up.

If Schneider and Othmann are untouchable I'd rather trade him to Washington

No!

If Vancouver isn’t getting Schneider or equivalent, I doubt they trade Miller this year. There are many in the organization who would rather try and retain JT miller and Rutherford has already said they are in no rush to make trades.

This is a big package, but there is a ton of risk here. Lundkvist has platoed as a prospect since 2020, kratsov is on the outs anyways and his counting stats are underwhelming, chytil is a middle 6 forward who likely doesn’t impact Vans top 6, and picks are always a gamble (though nice to have). If I’m Vancouver I would be wanting a more sure-fire piece rather than a handful of maybes

Hawks likely going to want the 22' picks in place of the 23'.

Valuewise I don't see major issues though.
