How many times are you going to post the same exact thing that definitely isn't happening?

At least once more as the deal seems to be getting narrowed down to this but thanks for your input.

Why would Philly want this? They have been open about not wanting a 5 year rebuild and wanting to be competing in a couple years. I’d imagine they want prospects close to the nhl over picks. Also asking they to take half of Giroux and take $10 mil in scandella is going to cost.

A huge contingent of Blues fans are in favor of this deal. I'm finishing the bibliography, I'll get that to you ASAP.

Trading best player and being competitive sooner as a result is kind of a foolish thought. No?

Oi vey.... now "huge contingent" = two CF members. And since when do fans decide on a deal's parameters anyway? I must have missed that meeting.

Oh, and by the way, I have a little secret for you: a not insignificant portion of Blues fans are total dimwits who wanted to toss Tarasenko in the trash for nothing prior to the season (no, I am not referring to anyone here).

They have mentioned that in their press conferences. I believe they want to give him a chance at a cup run and resign him in the offseason.

Well I'm glad I finally got the GM on the line.

Re-signing him later are words used in the presser. There's no intention to re-sign from either party. It never happens though this scenario is often stated.

I think, instead of taking a half hour to transparently deflect, what you meant to say is "I have no legit source for this contention."

You asked a question but instead did your own research to support your biased opinion so now you know everything about nothing.

What are you babbling about? You made a claim, I politely asked you to share with us the source for this claim. Since then, you've done nothing but comically stumble over yourself trying to make me look like the doof here in a sad attempt to cover up the fact that no source for your claim exists. Nobody needed to do any research to figure all that out.

Giroux put it to three teams that he'd like to play for this season, Avs, Wild, and Blues. Avs are his first choice and would be realistic if they could get the cap to work. The Avs may not want to pull the trigger since they already have phenomenal chemistry and why give up anything at this point unless they think Giroux seals the deal. All that being said I'd say the Avs are still a realistic trading partner which means trading Giroux for Burakovsky.

The wild also make a good trading partner in that they can dump someone like Rask. But you are still in the same boat for both teams. They have to give up futures or prospects to be all in on a 34 year old playoff Giroux.

Which leads to the least likely of scenario's. The blues would have to part with Sundqvist or Barbashev to get the deal done. Personally, I'd take Barbashev over Giroux. So we'd have to give up Sundqvist and what to land Giroux? We aren't moving a 1st and we aren't giving up Brown for a playoff rental like Giroux. And Scandella doesn't work because that leaves us with a gap on LD.

I didn’t make you look like a doof. That was your own doing. This is a fan site attempting to make wildly outlandish trades and signings or possibly even fair deals from time to time. It’s pretty fun when fans share opinions that work to make a trade happen or not.

Either way, there’s nothing polite about any of your messages except a please on a note asking about sources, which is utterly ridiculous on an opinion based fan website. Since you, captain obvious, need it spelled out other Blues fans made this counter offer to other trade deals so I figured this was moving in the right direction like a real trade would. It likely takes many offers to reach an agreement.

Since you are so opposed to this deal, perhaps share why and what you would offer instead or why the Blues should target someone else?

Be productive in the conversation or just be quiet. Anything in between is crap.

1- I said you tried. But do enjoy your delusions of grandeur.

2- It, however, is not fun when someone posts the same thing multiple times inside an hour or two.

3- I swear, it's like you don't understand the meaning of words. Saying please while asking for a source is the very definition of polite.

4- I've shared the glaringly obvious of why too many times to count (no cap, no need, no DUH). All out now.

5- Dude, get a grip. Nobody needs your permission or approval to post. And the only crap here is this trade you keep posting.
