It's tough to say what he'll get. I would think he'll get more than Duchene got (8 million x 7 years), maybe something close to the Zibanejad deal (8.5 million x 8 years)?

Kadri is having a monster year, and him and Hertl are the only 2 high end centers that are likely to hit free agency this year.

Personally I hope Kadri is smart enough to realize what a great situation he has in Colorado and stays for like 7.5 million or something

First I believe someone will give Kadri 9.5mill. Now is he worth it. No and I wouldn't want the Avs to pay that. He is one suspension away from being shut down again. You can see he is't disciplined enough to stop doing stupid stuff i.e. too many people penalty among other dumb moves. Now what I think we should do is trade him to Seattle at the end of the season for 1st round pick. Now you say why would seattle do that. Because Joe Sakic signs Kadri and then deals him. If they can get him on an 8x8 without a NMC now we have an asset.
