Nashville declines. Eeli is doing decent in his second year and is only 22. Debrusk is 3 years older and has been declining. Don't see the incentive for Nashville to do this

Bruins have to throw in sweetner, think JD ceiling is probably higher but current value is lower then tolvanen’s

While DeBrusk would be a good fit in NSH, Tolvanen is too high a price. Of the roster players potentially available, Cousins would make sense for BOS but NSH would need to add more.

NSH needs more scoring now, Tolvanen provides that down the line but preds need it now

So why DeBrusk? His production is basically identical to Tolvanen's.

I believe change of scenario could spark JD and Tolvy, I see this as a potential win-win

I'd rather keep the younger, cheaper, more well rounded player with the higher ceiling.

Thing is your getting the same scoring from Eeli that you would get from Debrusk. Makes no sense to trade a younger version for the older version that has seen his play drop significantly
