In a vacuum I agree, but if Blues end up moving a Perunovich for something else like a stay at home LHD to pair with Parayko, this trade makes sense to have Yandle as 6/7th dman. Also great locker room guy that would mix well with current Blues.

Exactly. Saying there's no purpose for Yandle now is nothing like saying there's no purpose for Scotty. Plus, we already have Scotty. Yandle we'd need to trade for. Very, very different animals.
