Greenway just extended for 3 years last week. So that's a no.

Not that your value is way off, but Evason and Guerin like the way Foligno-Ek-Greenway play together i don't think it's a strong enough offer to make Guerin pull the trigger.

Cernak isn't available, And try more like 8x8 for John Klingberg. And Dadonov isn't waiving from a possible cup contender to a cellar dweller.

Please explain why TB would remotely consider trading their best player at their weakest position on a great contract?

Jordan greenway isn't getting traded especially after just being resigned. He's not available, nor are we trading greenway for a lesser player

Greenway is available, as every player on Bill Guerin's team is. Not sure if you are aware but Guerin has a very F your feelings way of running this team, and it has gotten it to where it is. If the offer is for the betterment of the team in the long run he 100% takes it.

Olofsson >>> Greenway, and it’s not even close
That said, u can keep your 3rd line talent
Bc there’s ZERO CHANCE the Sabres would actually trade a good goal scoring top6 winger for him- NONE

Dude, I’m a Sabre fan…. but this is gonna be pretty harsh

1- obviously you’re obsessed with us getting tougher- and yes, that’s needed. But you’re just going over the edge with it.
Olofsson for a mediocre 3rd line banger? That’s just dumb
Especially when we could just get a guy like Pearson (who can bang guys around AND has more talent) for MUCH CHEAPER from Vancouver

2- the Vegas trade is fine, kind of. The chances of Smith re-signing here are minimal, so if we did get him he should be flipped. Same for Dadonov, bc that’s the only way he’d waive to come here anyways

3- good UFAs signing with us is just EXTREMELY UNLIKELY. Maybe Holtby- MAYBE. But that’s only bc there’s only so many starting goalie jobs out there. Also, i can appreciate your being optimistic, so i won’t hammer u too bad on Klingberg- but it’s not happening. Definitely not at that price, we’d have to overpay. And we shouldn’t want him anyways- we need a more defensive oriented guy to pair with Power to help him out.

4- probably the worst of this all is the Tampa trade. Idk what you’re possibly thinking here, but there is ZERO CHANCE this happens- it’s brutal. Yes, Tampa has Cap issues. But they do EVERY YEAR, & they always figure it out. Why the heck would they move Cernak- who’s their top pair RD- as opposed to a guy like Palat or Kilorn, etc etc?? And if they were gonna trade him for some reason, why exactly are they doing for FUTURES that won’t help them for YEARS when they’re obviously in WIN NOW mode??? AGAIN…. There’s just ZERO CHANCE

    Sorry to be so harsh
This is just so way off though dude

You are the only one who believes thos! It's a fantasy that you believes he's trading greenway who was just given a new contract. Just like Foligno and Joel Eriksson ek, brodin, Spurgen among others are never getting traded. You are living a fantasy to believe thus

If they were offered the right deal for any single one of those players, they would trade them without a doubt. There is zero chance your misspellings can change my mind on that.

And there's zero chance you are convincing me that you aren't just living a fantasy to think he would or those players like brodin, Spurgen would waive. Also to prove your fantasy wrong, no gm including Guerin is trading a player just signed to extension whose contract hasn't even started. Also, oh yeah, not taking your word. Like to think he would trade Joel Eriksson ek also or foligno who he wasn't willing to trade for 1st round pick is laughable

Cite your source of a first round pick being offered for Foligno please. Once again this is a false statement.

You should go back and listen to the kfan podcast. It was during the trade deadline Russo mentioned that and not long after foligno was given 3 years extension. Like the quote Russo mentioned, over Guerin's dead body, he wouldn't trade foligno. He reported teams offered 1st round pick and Guerin wouldn't.

You are the only wild fan existent on things that wouldn't ever happen

Like i said…. we could bring in a similar player (Pearson from Van) for a MUCH CHEAPER price (something like a 3rd)
Then u could have Olofsson scoring goals AND Pearson banging bodies (and also scoring more goals than Greenway)
It just doesn’t make sense to trade away a top6 goal scorer for a bottom6 banger
What’s next…. ship out Tage for Clutterbuck ?

    It’s insane dude

It appears the issue stems from our respective valuations of Olofsson

Olofsson in top 6 isn't good thing imo, rather have space for younger more talented wingers and keep the top line as it is now, making Olofsson in this scenario a 3rd line winger. I think Ideall you have Skinner - Tuch and then Peterka - Quinn on the top two wings next year, Olofsson prob moves off the first PP and at that point his production will likely fall.

Any of this register my man?

Vic has been a bright spot in some dark years here but I don't think Buffalo can be a contender with him in their top 6

    I get what you’re saying….
It still doesn’t make sense to trade a top6 goal scorer for a bottom6 guy who just bangs ppl around

If u want Olofsson off the team, then fine
Just trade him for something that’s actually of value!

    And just so ya know….
The Sabres (to this point) won’t even consider trading Olofsson unless the return for him STARTS with a 1st round pick
Maybe they could be swayed if a good young player becomes available, or a RD they like to pair with Power….
But i can assure you that there is ZERO CHANCE they’ll trade him for some bottom6 toughness
