I think if the rangers trade krav it will be for a rental so they can make a push this year

Yeah thats what I think as well, I just got lazy and Kratsov was the first "change of scenery" type player thought of

Interesting Boston trade. Not sure they are in position to trade 1sts for rental wing. But i think they consider this anyway. 2nd no retention on Rakell and they accept for sure.

My thinking here is the Bruins are connected to Rakell supposedly. and DLo solidifies the 4th line, they dump some cap as well (not calling Debrusk a dump, but they do shed some considerable salary here for other moves) and we have been connected to DeBrusk.

Marchand-Bergeron-Pasta
Hall-Coyle-Rakell
Foligno-Haula-Smith
Deslauriers-Nosek-Lazar

I think it take a first to get Rakell, he's on fire lately so his value is going up, had 2 more goals last night, 6 in his last 7. I think we get a first offered from multiple teams (Could be wrong)

I agree, but unless there is an extension i can’t see Boston giving up a 1st. They have 3 big needs, will only trade one 1st. They need to get more than 2 months of value for it.

Boston’s 4th line is fine, i doubt DLo breaks into it right now, but i love his physical aspect it’s much needed here. He does not push Lazar or Foligno out. Boston is not breaking up the Frederic-Coyle-Smith line. They are on fire. Rakell would play with Marchy and Bergy. They’d keep line 2-4 intact.

Thats fair, if they have multiple big needs a first for a rental that only solves one wouldnt be the way to go. I figured the 4th line would be more of a rotation depending on match-up, Cassidy is a great head coach and could really utilize a rotating 4th line well I feel.

Is the Perfection line not together anymore? Haven't paid super close attention to the Bruins this year, My dads favourite team so we always love when the Ducks and Bruins trade haha

Not since Xmas. Hall-Haula-Pasta has been line 2.

I’d rather they pursue Rakell than Kessel.

How expensive would Lindhom/Rakell package be, he cringes as he asks, knowing there is almost no chance of keeping Lindholm from testing the market makes me hesitate but…spitballing what do you think it would look like?

Ahh okay.

Probably out of the bruins price range honestly. Seperate we could get two firsts a high end prospect plus a conditional 2nd/3rd if not more. Lindholm is the top rental D on the market and should fetch a high end return. With the leafs being connected to Lindholm with the Muzzin injury it could turn into a bidding war quickly for Lindholm

Ya, agree. If Boston is unwilling to move Lysell, and they should not. I don’t see how they could pull it off.

Was thinking pair of 1sts/Debrusk/FW prospect other than Lysell - Ducks choice/Berglund (puck moving RD prospect). But i don’t see that cutting it.

Honestly if Rakell would be agreeable to a 5x5 extension give or take. I’d do the OP post. Not sure how they will fix the center problem if Bergy retires or leaves at years end. Moving that 1st makes it difficult.

Yeah Lysell would 100% have to be the prospect coming back if we move Lindholm to Boston and it would probably take him + a 1st if the rumors that almost every team is viewing Lindholm as the top rental on market.

And imo the Bruins should not make that trade at all.

I could see Rakell getting something in the neighbourhood of the Coyle contract when he gets his new deal

I like Manson as a target but Behrens and a 2nd is too much.
Murray a 2nd and a lesser asset for Retained Manson is what I see working

Wasnt 100% sure how Behrens was valued, He was one of my draft crushes this past year.

I feel like the Ducks ask for one of Behrens, Barron (Would be just him, no pick) or one of Foudy/Beaucage prospect wise from the Avs

Behrens tearing up the NCAA right now. They hold onto him. If they move a D Prospect its for a big big name fwd. Manson just doesnt move the need that much as a rental to justify a Behrens or Barron.
Beaucage or Foudy would be fine. I like Foudy more so I hope avs dont move him

Welp, Helleson and a 2nd has more value than Behrens and a 2nd

I was hoping Murray had value in this trade scenario, but it wasn't far off in reality.
