Created by: Cjhenn19
Team: 2022-23 New York Islanders
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 23, 2022
Published: Feb. 23, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
All of these trades occur at TDL22. Everything is based on legit rumors over the past 48 hours about Bailey, Chara, and Forsberg. Forsberg is an offseason signing after he finishes this year wit Nashville. I have Clutterbuck getting a ring with Colorado and then coming back to the Island to finish his career with Casey and Matt

Wild are in Cap Hell these next 2-3 years I highly doubt they want/can afford Josh Bailey

Minnesota isn't taking on Josh Bailey or his contract. That report last night by the fourth period was bs. We don't need wingers, or taking on 5 mil bottom line winger.

Not to mention giving up a cheap center they may end up needing in the deal.

110% agree. Just going off a report from The Fourth Period yesterday trying to find the right package. They were also the outlet that had Forsberg and the isles connected

Fixed the wild trade based on everyone's comments. Made it so salary transaction is the same. Isles carrying 1.25mil for the next three years isn't ideal so gonna have to give up the second. Again, I don't know how any team could justify trading for Bailey, just going off the reporting

I think we should avoid Forsberg. There's something about him I don't trust.

The fourth period is never right. We don't have need ir room on our roster for a winger. So with all due respect, Minnesota still says no

Can someone show me the last thing The Fourth Period said that was actually true? Feel like this guy constantly says stuff and none of it ever happens https://t.co/6Gxw473I2H

You're an isles fan who doesn't trust a goal scoring winger they have desperately needed since Mike Bossy? Are you Garth Snow?
