That’s probably what Miller would fetch but I wouldn’t do it for the Leafs

I think that's a fair deal, but as a Leafs fan I don't think I'd go for it

No thanks from LA. Boeser isn't worth his qualifying offer.

According the Dom's model he's worth 6.9 mil in a disaster yr with a coaching and whole front office change in Vancouver.

JT Miller has this last 3 seasons... Games/points
69/72 53/46 50/53
William Nylander has
68/59 51/42 50/47
Johnny G has
70/58 56/49 49/64
Mark Scheifele has
71/73 56/63 44/40
So yeah he is that good!

...and his QO is for $7.5M. Comparing their numbers, why is he worth more than Tyler Toffoli?

Exactly so at his worst hes 6.9 mil. You definitely don't want to trade for him if you only plan to give him his QO.

Anyway he led the team in points last season and he's 5 yrs younger than Toffoli. He's not worth OP I was just pushing back that his QO is too high. It's pretty much bang on.

Toffoli is making $4.25M. Not sure why Boeser deserves $3M/season more. Their numbers are pretty much identical.

Toffoli panic signed during the height of covid. As a Van fan I was hoping we could get him for 6 mil. Benning doesn't even give him an offer and he goes and signs for cheap and rips it up in Montreal. In terms of output you are right they're right around the same but the Toffoli signing was an outlier. The other thing to consider is age as I mentioned. Players tend to slow down around 30 yrs old and on. Boeser turns 25 in a couple days, hes 5 yrs younger. Having seen them both on my team Boeser just has so much more upside. Toffoli is a solid 2nd line winger where I think if Boeser has a good season he's a first line winger.
