Nobody is trading 2023 picks , Minnesota especially included. Especially for a winger wr don't have any need, use for.

I said it on another Canucks thread - Jason Dickinson has 6 points in 48 games this year and a $2.65M AAV. Isles don't give up anything for him - maybe if you give up the 4th instead for the eternal stud Future Considerations, they accept

Ya I think we are stuck with him. Team is middling anyway so not worth adding picks to get rid of him. Plus who knows maybe he can turn it around. Can't get much worse.

I'll say this - he's 26 and I could see him figuring it out more than if he was over 30. And that cap hit isn't too onerous - I think they can salvage some value at some point from him. Just not this year.

For sure. And given his role was never to score I think there is hope that maybe he improves as he gets used to the systems and his new teammates. He had 4 months of a new coach and then another new coach so that is a potential reason but we shall see.

i'm just curious how you have come to this "idea" for lack of a better term, that PIT would take that marshmallow back?

Honestly this AGM is two years in the future and I just wanted to move Pearson out and get Kapanen in so I just mixed those two things together into one transaction lol
