waiver claim
Canucks decline, they can get a better offer else where. If there was a second included that would maybe move the needle.

Yeah that's true. them getting Jarnkrok doesn't help either. But idk I could see Pearson getting moved to Calgary at some point.

Hockey Trades with Calgary and LA
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>justaBoss</b></div><div>I know, but the bases don't work. CGY has no interest in swapping a player to one of similar role, only 6 years older, and I don't see LA including Turcotte in trades right now.</div></div>
If you've watched the Flames, you'd notice that Dube isn't a guy that is trusted in the Sutter system. He's getting wasted on the fourth line. Pearson is a Sutter guy and would be trusted defensively.
Yeah the LA trade is a bit off, but Garland is being heavily undervalued by y'all.

There's a chance of a Foote out of Tampa as well. He seems to be out of favour with Tampa and they love their Grindy skilled forwards

The Canucks goal is to get a defenseman (preferably right handed), who is in the 20-25 age range, so Liljegren would fit that really well.

Maybe something around those two and Schenn. (someone else that they had interest in).

Apparently Motte is their #1 target on the Canucks rn and the Canucks are very interested in Liljegren.
Just putting one and one together!

Canucks are targetting Stud defenseman no matter the handedness they play. They will literally scratch/trade one of Hamonic/Poolman/Schenn if they make a move to acquire a RHD.
Marino will look great in Blue, Green, and White :)

That's incorrect. If anything a guy like Schenn gets added in to give the Pens a defenseman and Rodrigues goes the other way as Garland takes his spot.

Zacha is nowhere near the complete player that Garland is. He has a Qualifying Offer that the Devils are clearly not interested in paying out (that's why he's on the block).
You can argue points all day till you're blue in the face but Garland holds way more value than Zacha.

JT Miller fills so many needs for the Avs. I don't think it would be all of that for him though.
Byram hasn't played since the start of January and Colorado has been buzzing without him. So you are literally adding Miller without losing anything from your current roster. Avs have the pressure on them to get passed the second round this year and this is basically their last year to make a HUGE push.
Moreover, Miller is a perfect fit to replace Kadri next year when he walks and takes 7M+. He'll probably be better than what Kadri does next year.

Has Girard not been on the block recently? Apparently the Avs are super interested in Miller so there'd have to be something good coming the other way.
Colorado doesn't have much space so there's have to be some cap going both ways too.
Honestly this could leave the door open to trading for Giroux too, with them not trading out their first
