Everything's negotiable, especially now that they will likely be selling the guy. How much more they want

I'd take out Fabbro, Klingberg, & Gurianov, then start fresh.

Rip good old hockey trade.

But if you want to remove those guys, we're certainly willing to take Forsberg for free, too.

It’s an in division trade that ain’t happening. 1. Wouldn’t be trading Fabbo in any deal. Really don’t have any use for Klingberg cause we won’t sign him. Preds are probably moving him for a young players and/or futures.

Like @JOFA said, if they're trading Forsberg it's likely for futures. Don't see Fabbro going anywhere, Klingberg isn't of interest to NSH regardless of if they're contending or not, and Gurianov is kind of redundant for NSH, with guys like Jeannot, Kunin, Trenin.

None of those guys you mentioned are exactly snipers. Gurianov's known for his extremely hard shot. Figured he could get a slot in Preds' top-6. Imo he's good enough for it.

But yeah if it's a load of futures you want then the Stars is not the ideal location for a move considering we're not realistically a playoff team. But I would have preferred a hockey trade anyway.

The edge here is on dallas side.
They have to pay more I think.

Bourque + 3rd? Or is that too much.

That's probably fair but I think DAL wouldn't do it.

This idea works only as a hockey trade. Pending UFA for another, and then positional swap. But if Forsberg doesn't re-sign, DAL gets the shorter end of the stick, big time.

I doubt dallas would do it unless big chance he resigns. Dallas is not doing well this year, so I doubt they just get rentals.

But it's a good idea since Nashville is in a playoff spot, and probably wouldn't trade forsberg JUST for picks + prospects. Bourque or 1 of dallas centers should be added + a 3rd / 4th

If DAL had a secured spot in the playoffs then it might work but realistically DAL should not move their prospects right now.

Agree, with the way this team is playing Bourque, Johnston and Stankoven should all be off limits.

He should be the highest ranked prospect that’d be available for a trade, more or less.

He too, unless there's a real favorable deal for us in the market.

I was comparing Gurianov to those others because he's a youngish middle six winger with size and potentially more offense than we've seen to date. With the Preds players I mentioned all out scoring Gurianov, while all being cheaper and more physical, I don't see NSH having a ton of interest.

Poile does like his hockey trades, but I don't see who on DAL fits the bill there, when it comes to Forsberg. NSH doesn't need any top four defensemen, so Klingberg is a non-starter. A Forsberg-Pavelski swap probably doesn't get entertained by either team. If Hintz is ever available, please let us know smile
