Toronto is going to have to add significantly for Hagel, Mrazek is a clear cap dump and the hawks have enough of those.

Give Leafs De Haan as well and we'll give you a third. That would be a one stop shop deadline for us.

Hrandon Bagel. LOL

He should be a Ranger playing with Panarin. Maybe get Mangiapane from the Flames. The Bread line.

Rangers trade looks fine. My ambivalence towards it is probably a sign that neither side is "winning".

Pretty much what I was going for here. Carpenter is a coach favourite and seems like a good fit in NYR for a playoff run; Gauthier gets the Rangers something in return at the very least, can perhaps squeeze 10 goals or so out of him next season while they re-tool.

So you're saying...Brandon Hagel, the world's most random sudden superstar, is worth more than a 1st round pick and Nick Robertson?
Mrazek isn't REALLY a cap dump, to be honest he's just a good fit in Chicago. They have literally nothing planned between the pipes beyond this season, even Lankinen is a pending UFA. At $3.8M, he's a decent gamble for some streaky good goaltending over the next 2 seasons while they re-tool.

Hagel + Fleury half retained is worth more than Robertson and a 1st. Hagel isn't a superstar, but he does have one of the best contracts in the league. Think of a Coleman comparison. And then add that Hagel has one more year signed than Coleman did.

Coleman is a much, much better two-way winger than Hagel, and hit two straight 20G seasons prior to that trade. Hagel is a pretty good player but his trade value is being absolutely overblown here, not to mention the fact that he's riding an unsustainable shooting percentage (close to 20%).

A 1st + Robertson is more than fair. Any more would be overpay

Coleman got a 1st + A level prospect and he was having arguably a better season

No need for the goalies to be moved as Mrazek showed tonight what he can do with proper support tonight stopping 29 of 30 shots against the Wild. With consistency were good for now

In general if Mrazek continues playing like he did tonight far from a cap dump lul.

At this point he is. Cap space is valuable and I think it's safe to say no one from the Hawks side want to touch mrazek

Yeah Coleman got that without taking a cap dump back, hence this is off. Also I don't really like the Coleman comparison. He was 28 at the time of that trade. Hagel is 23, you're getting RFA years out of Hagel.
