You’re mental if you think the sharks even consider this

Karlsson has been back to for this season and you are adding a top 6 forward killing the whl, a top 6 forward killing the OHL and two firsts mostly likely both top 10 picks for literally nothing in return? Oh and add a sh*t ton in retention too?

No thanks want nothing to do with that Karlsson contract, And for 3 x $4,000,000 Andrew Copp would stay in Winnipeg. Reportedly Copp wants the Hyman deal 7 x $5,500,000 and he's probably well worth it.

There's no way they move that contract,

If Karlsson were traded, I doubt the Sharks would get a huge return for him, but it’s unlikely two 1sts are attached.

Massive no. Karlsson worth way more to us than in any trade. Not to mention all the other stuff...

Sharks can keep Karlsson, want nothing to do with that. I would rather have Lindstrom over Karlsson any day of the week, a defenceman that actually plays defence.

Karlsson is not worth 11.5 and he is not the player he was 3-4 years ago, but he is still a quality top 3 D man though he is closer to a 6 mil a year caliber guy now.

in this deal we’re giving up a top 7 1st and a top 15 1st next year and two budding prospects who have top 6 ceilings, and a top 4 D man, so we are losing 5 pieces and 4 who are on elc or will be when we sign them and all 4 could be in the NHl in 2-4 years, just to get enough cap to go after maybe 2 pieces.

the return also doesn’t add enough to give any logical reason sharks do this? 2nd rounders tend to have lower ceilings and less skill, and the prospects are not the same caliber as we’re giving up.

this is an easy no from the sharks as there is no logical reason to accept.
