with what money? I doubt they let perron walk, and Perunovich needs a contract, and then thomas and Kyrou need extensions next year. They dont have any big money coming off the books for a while and no obvious cap dumps. Even if they let perron walk, it will still be hard to fit it in.

Perron will sign for 2 years at under 2 mil
Scotty P get an under 1 mil deal fs
I assume Scandella gets traded but even if he doesn’t they still have enough money
Lastly VT and ROR are up same year as Kyrou and Thomas

Doesn't Husso also have a better chance of stealing the #1spot from Blackwood?
Worst case he's splitting time and gets more gms

seems low for Perron, no? consistent 20-goal scorer, still only going to be 34 by next season. can see him taking a 'hometown discount' to stay in STL, and maybe i'm crazy here, but 2 years under 2 mil seems low for him to me

Lots to like in this AGM.
Wouldn't be surprised if that's the contract Bratt got, dude's frikkin fantastic.
I like the Husso shout, similar contract to what Driedger got last summer makes this a reasonable comp.

While the line combinations are very much in line with what I'd like to see, it's quite unreasonable to expect McLeod to provide positive value as a 3C. That's expecting far too much from him, he couldn't handle that responsibility. He tops out as 4C, nothing more, and that's totally fine. Wood - McLeod - Bastian likely makes for a one of the league's better 4th lines anyway.
At the same time, Boqvist has all the potential and makings of a very good 3C and paired with AJ and Tatar they should make for a fantastic 3rd line in 22-23.
Then again, this might be arguing semantics. The line combinations are great anyway.

Seeing Severson as the 7th D is just weird. Of those defenders you got, he's second best after Hamilton. He's such an underrated hockey player.
Admittedly having Hughes making the team by 22-23 complicates things a wee bit, and at this point in time I'd lean towards having him play NCAA hockey for another year.
If Hughes does make the team and using the other defenders you got, on merit you'd have to sit Smith at the start, dude's had a sophomore slump for the ages and is waiver's exempt for 22-23 as well.

Solid AGM, thumbs up.
