As much as Galchenyuk has struggled MTL isn't trading away one of their top players for Komarov and Leivo
Can't imagine ANA wanting Hyman for Theo

agree with leafs fan. and those three ufa signing, Cullen, franson, Russel, young leafs with cap can do better

I mean, Murray has essentially said that Theodore is untouchable, so I'm really not sure why Hyman (Who should be a 3rd/4th liner), Fehr (4th liner) and Valiev (a B- prospect) would get him for you. Sending over multiple mediocre players doesn't get you a good one.

The same logic should apply to the Galchenyuk trade.

Cullen will probably retire
Russell is a advanced stats nightmare... not sure Dubas would let that happen
Franson could happen (thats the right price and term if he does)
McElhinney may come back but thats too much $$$
