Booth, the Pittsburgh GM was planning on leaving. He decided to give a few gifts to some GMS as a token of appreciation. However, some GMS were not to pleased about this and all the trades had to be reverted. Off site, jabroni and Booth got into an issue. Since, VGK had a GM that wanTed the Pittsburgh job, Booth was not to happy about it so he will be keeping his job for the time being.

It's kind of tied into it as well. Many GMs decided to blow up the league by making trades that were not that great for one side since v2 was coming very soon. However this also unsettled a few GMS. I may or may not be involved in the mess

Honestly Im curious how all this hype even came about in the first place?

Like, did you guys all decide in private chats somewhere that your were going to start a V2 game and figured that you could screw this one since it was guaranteed the new one would be up and running soon? Did the MODs agree to it to give everyone some assurance it would be up?

Krak, v2 was a plan that I and another GM made. it was supposed to go through the whole process of getting voted in by whomever (Mods, Gms, etc.)

It wasn't supposed to be launched until around September 15th, of course, that was just the rough date that myself and the other GM decided on.

Posting it was a mistake on my part, as a lot of GMs took it under the impression that it was solidified and was going to be implemented ASAP. The original plan was to submit it after FA and see what everyone's thoughts were

edit : it was nothing more than a blueprint/plan. we (the GM community) haven't had a final FA plan yet, which was part of the mistake of publishing the idea to everyone

Ok so let me get this straight. You all went crazy because you ASSUMED the mods would accept this plan thus making V1 unnecessary? Its fine if one guy (DavidBooth) decided to do it on a whim but then everyone starting getting in on it. jmac was purging his team, Bolts and matt were in on it too.

I didn't purge my team, but I didn't prevent them from not "purging" their team(s). Unfortunately, I wasn't part of the solution, so I was part of the problem.

My idea was that v1 would still be alive and well, with a paradigm shift focusing more on v2. To my knowledge, no GM has approached the MODs about a second version, hence why v2 was simply a plan, should we even do a v2.

That was brilliant for me though.

Um just out of curiosity when did I start purging my team? Beyond accepting (and then almost immediately reverting) the Drouin "deal" I didn't try and sell off any other pieces. And just so you know I don't mean this in a confrontational or aggressive manner, just wondering.
