I see you acquired it from Pittsburgh, but no further record of it from there.

Sorry to butt in, but I can confirm giving krak the 2017 3rd (PIT) in the Quick deal. I believe it is stated as so in the official trade thread

Does Niemi for Benoit Pouliot and a 5th (ANA - 2018) do anything for you?
You get a goaltender with NHL experience for this year and free up $4M next year.
