Giroux trades seems pretty thoughtful it would go through Jost/Compher are changeable
If VAN doesn't want to keep Motte I believe he would benefits this team so much instead of using MacDermid most games.

Pysyk for depth

Murray would be moved to any team willing to take him on for the rest of the year

Motte is a ufa so I think that is a fair deal from Canucks POV. Obv I'd like to resign him cheaply if possible but if not I'd take that deal.

I'm not sure where buffalo stands with him pysyk, I would believe it's in their best interest to get a 3rd for him with the possibility of him leaving this upcoming off season.

What I’m saying is that we may extend him
Even if he did walk, all we lose is a late 3rd
That’s just not a big deal at all

Yeah, because those 3rd rounders have such a good return.

If there is a chance he'll resign in buffalo, zero sense to move him for a pick that has close to a zero percent chance of amounting to anything.

If Vancouver decides to trade Motte, I think they accept this offer.

if pysyk doesn't resign then what would you want for him?

I know if there's a chance he'l rsign why trade him bu we don't know for sure.

Fair value on the Giroux trade though I'd rather the Avs sent a forward like Kaut/Ranta instead of Behrens. Which leads me to Kaut plus a third being an overpay for Motte. I think if you've accrued enough cap then you keep Murray but I'm fine with trading him if not and only IF Byram is back. Not sure why you're sending a 4th to ARZ unless they're retaining a further 50% or something, in which case your cap would be fine. The Pysyk trade is ok.

I would rather send one of those two instead of Behrens too but I believe him or hellesons the most realistic.

I wasn't able to show Arizona retaining half of Giroux as I'm not sure how so I just flipped Murray instead.

I wasn't sure what a motte trade would look like as I haven't seen anyone here lately so I figured possible NHLer and mid pick for a guy who would help our pk tremendously
