Dunn isn't that special and the Leafs don't need a 4m LHD.. Strange when the Leafs it's always seems to Holl/Dermot/Engvall/Mrzarek fault. Gee after last night, why are Reilly and Brodie traded?

Engvall Mikheyev kerfoot and Holl have proven my trust in them this year. Apparently it's going to take a while for that to funnel down to other leafs fans.

Dunn isnt the type of D we should ask for from Seattle; Soucy, Oleksiak or Larsson would fit better IMO. Crouse would be nice but I'm not sure there's a fit in this line up for him unless you pit him on the 1st line.

I agree with you on all but Holl. Although the past few games Holl has looked drastically better than earlier this year. Totally agree with you on the other 3 though. But of course any non leafs fans think all three of those guys have negative trade value.

Not to mention it would be difficult to resign him next year.

Dubas seems hesistant to trade for a rental so going after someone they could hold on to seems like the better option. Also, I believe Crouse is the perfect fit for the 2nd line. The problem with the second line is that there is nobody with a little bit of size and grit to dig for pucks in the corners like Bunts does for the 1st line. I think Crouse provides that while also providing offense.

Its not that I dont trust those players, its just that they are the most expendable. You can't add players without getting rid of some and for me those are the ones that should go.

Why replace good players?

Holl has been absolutely great since coming back from the Christmas break. Muzzin has been an issue.

I'm not sure any leafs players get reliable value on capfriendly. Both by other fans and leafs fans.

Yeah I think Muzzin playing so poorly affected Holl's confidence a bit too but he's look confident again and making the right plays. I think Muzzin came back too soon from previous injury and seeing how bad his head hit the ice, I'd be surprised if he's back before playoffs and sadly might never be the same player.

Because if we want to win a cup we have to try and upgrade our lineup as much as we can. And Holl and Engvall are the spots that we should upgrade.

The past two years keafs have averaged 2.08 goals against. Which is very good. The 1.75 goals for us what has been killing us. You have done nothing to address that. You have also done nothing to address defensive players Vince dunn either.
