Not that Tampa would ever do this and the hawks would have to add a bit but the hawks desperately need a LD with a good shot. Watching Kane pass to a wide open dehaan or McCabe just for them to either miss the net or have his shot blocked really makes me miss prime Duncan Keith.

I think Serg is too important to them for them to allow him a move. They would need to be super high on Hagel.

I was thinking about LD's yesterday and Philly came to mind. But I couldn't make sense of them buying. CHI is probably just gonna have to hope something comes from within soon or eventually grab someone from free agency.

Provorov in the offseason if Philly is blowing it up? We probably wouldn't have the assets though honestly unless we traded hagel/flower/dehaan all now and flipped the assets later. Overall doesn't seem like that's what the plan is. Davidson seems like he just wants to stack up draft picks build this thing the long way, but also the right way

Exactly. Would be nice to have an LD that can hold down the top pairing. But CHI shouldn't be spending any assets on it. And I'm pretty sure Philly is going to be doing the same thing stacking up picks and prospects. So if they do it, it'll be a UFA or luck out internally.

I know i'm in the minority here but I think Vlasic has the upside to be a # 2/3 Dman. Jones is already out #1. If we can hit on one of the guys we have we could be in decent shape

Vlasic is promising. But, honestly, I'm more excited about Del Mastro.
